The DirActNI framework was developed as technical part of a Master Thesis in Computer Sciences at the
Universität Paderborn and in cooperation with the
Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
This work is part of the research field of the
useTable team. The team develops and analyses novel interaction techniques for (whole-)body, tangible, and (multi)touch applications.
The aim of the thesis was the implementation and evaluation of contactless (whole-body) 3D interaction techniques.
Privacy
Website Visitors
Like most website operators, DirActNI.de collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Therefore DirActNI.de uses with
Piwik an open source web analytics software. DirActNI.de’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how DirActNI.de’s visitors use its website. From time to time, DirActNI.de may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
DirActNI.de also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.
